Daufuskie Island is located between Hilton Head Island, SC and Savannah, GA.
It is the southernmost inhabited sea island in South Carolina and is only accessible by ferry or private water taxi. Daufukise is 5 miles long by almost 2.5 miles wide. With over 2 miles of traversable beachfront and multiple dirt roads with limited traffic, Daufuskie is truly a unique place boasting a rich history and pristine nature unlike any other on the East Coast.
The community of Daufuskie offers something for everyone’s interests including unique dining experiences, local island artists, a historic trail, museums, and outdoor activities including kayaking, bicycling, exploring by golf cart, fishing, and bird watching.
The Daufuskie Island Ferry Service provides round trip ferry service to and from the island four times a day. Our staff will work with the ferry service and island vendors to make sure your arrival and departure experience is smooth and seamless. We can provide transportation to and from the Daufuskie Island Ferry Landing for $10 per person. Our barn is about 1.5 miles from the landing.
