Daufuskie Island is located between Hilton Head Island, SC and Savannah, GA. 

It is the southernmost inhabited sea island in South Carolina and is only accessible by ferry or private water taxi. Daufuskie is 5 miles long by almost 2.5 miles wide. With over 2 miles of traversable beachfront and multiple dirt roads with limited traffic, Daufuskie is truly a unique place boasting a rich history and pristine nature unlike any other on the East Coast. 

The community of Daufuskie offers something for everyone’s interests including unique dining experiences, local island artists, a historic trail, museums, and outdoor activities including kayaking, bicycling, exploring by golf cart, fishing, and bird watching.


Getting Here

Haig Point Ferry Service

Visitors can utilize the Haig Point Ferry Service which provides round-trip ferry service to and from the island eighteen times a day.

Transportation to the Equestrian Center is not included. Riders may choose to add on a shuttle or golf cart rental.
