How do I get to Daufuskie Island?

The easiest way to get to the island is by taking Daufuskie Island Ferry. The ferry is very punctual so please plan on being at the dock at least twenty minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. For private water taxis, please contact H20 Sports, Outside Hilton Head, or May River Excursions.

Although Daufuskie Island is small, it is not a walk-able island. Therefore, we encourage riders to spend the day or half day on the island by renting a golf cart from one of the island vendors. If your party wishes just to join the ride and leave on the next available ferry, we offer a $10 per person shuttle from the dock to the stables and from the stables back to the dock immediately following the ride. This service can be added to your purchase when booking your ride online.
